Established in 1946 by Jerold Rabnick, Jerold Optical is not only the oldest optical establishment in Ohio, but it is one of the 25 oldest opticals in the United States!  Working alongside their father, siblings Loren and Lisa helped to build this iconic practice into the national optical destination it is today.

 

Although world champion NBA, MLB, and NFL athletes and their families, rock, jazz, and symphony performers, and a range of other high profile people choose Jerold Optical for their eyecare and eyewear needs, we thrive on serving the needs of Clevelanders.  

 

Often a resource for glasses and frames used in several of the movies filmed in the downtown area, Jerold Optical offers everything from custom made frame and lens combination, to a simple pair of glasses for reading.  Of course, we also fit and sell a lot of contact lenses!

 

Our independent optometrists perform eye examinations using state of the art Marco 6100 refracting system. Jerold is one of the first practices in the area to utilize this latest high definition technology, which ensures exacting results.
